Franklin Academy's lead BFFs!
Ms. Grey I’m a graduate of the Indiana University Southeast Elementary Education program, I was a second career professional. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education followed by a Master’s Degree in Elementary Literacy. Additionally, I have a Rank 1 in Educational Technology. I have completed two terms in the American History Grant offered by OVEC that allowed me credit to have an Elementary endorsement in Elementary History. It’s always been in my nature to be a leader and working with children fits that mentality as a mentor and role model. In today’s world, student lives that are touched by educators are both important and priceless opportunities to guide young minds. In my 18th year of education, most of which has been in the intermediate grades, I have found great pleasure in working with an age group that can be creative and accepting of new ideas. I have 5 wonderful children, Cory, Brad, Chelsey, Christian and Nick. I look forward to working with your child this year and if you have questions please email me at [email protected]

Mr. LumpkinsI'm excited to begin my 19th year in education and my 3rd year here in the new Franklin Academy at Old Mill. I'll be team teaching math again this year with Ms. Grey and we have a solid Google Classroom experience waiting for the kids. I have degrees from the University of Kentucky, Spalding University and the University of Louisville in Education, Science, and Agriculture. I'm truly expecting a great year and some real progressive learning from this bunch of 5th graders. Feel free to drop me a line at:

I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and an Endorsement for Middle School from Western Kentucky University. My Master's Degree and Rank 1 Degree are both from the University of Louisville. History is my passion, so I'm very fortunate to teach American history at Old Mill. When not teaching, I can be found reading, watching movies, traveling, cooking, and running. Feel free to contact me at [email protected]. |
